1 Blakea parasitica Foster Botanical Garden, near entrance Lowland Leeward O'ahu. Preserved_Specimen Small potted plant growing shrub-like. In it's native range it is a rather large hemiepiphytic shrub. Flowers born mostly below foliage, corolla magenta to pink, petals 1-1.5 cm long, 7-10 mm wide, obovate, recurved at apex.
